The workshop "The real-world laboratory - one format, many approaches?" took place on July 23, 2021 as part of the tdAcademy in cooperation with the Steinbeis Beratungszentrum Syntos and the Netzwerk Reallabore. The aim of the event was to compare different approaches to real-world laboratories - with the participation of real-world laboratory actors from research and practice. In addition to the transdisciplinary consideration of the different political levels and fields of action, the event was dedicated to the closer delimitation of sustainability transformations and transformations through technical and regulatory innovations in order to classify concrete design modalities of different real-world laboratory approaches. The focus was on the methods that can be used in real-world laboratory approaches, the project-specific involvement of practical actors and the specific moments of reflection in varying project processes. Real-world laboratory stakeholders from science, business, politics and administration had the opportunity to discuss their requirements for and experiences with successful real-world laboratory approaches during the event.
