What do you find interesting about transdisciplinary research?

"What excites me about transdisciplinary research is that this mode of research takes the social responsibility of science seriously. Transdisciplinarity deals with real-world problems from multiple perspectives and is orientated towards the common good and sustainability goals. From a research perspective, I find the question of successful cognitive and social-organisational integration very exciting, as it lays a central foundation for the long-term effectiveness of transdisciplinary projects.'

What is your role in the tdAcademy project and what do you find exciting about it?

"I joined the tdAcademy at the beginning of the second phase and work as a research assistant in topic line 1: Social effects. During the first phase, I already learnt a lot about the findings of the tdAcademy in the ZTG's internal working group on societal effects of transdisciplinary research, in which my predecessor Josefa Kny was also involved.'
