What do you find interesting about transdisciplinary research?
"What excites me about transdisciplinary sustainability research is that it combines a high scientific quality with concrete social effectiveness (which is absolutely necessary and urgent in view of the multiple ecological crises). What I find exciting about the process itself is how different groups of actors from very different contexts are brought together - and how new approaches to solving existing problems can be found from these very heterogeneous perspectives and bodies of knowledge.”
What is your role in the tdAcademy team and what do you find exciting about it?
"I am part of the coordination office and my responsibilities include being the contact person for external enquiries, but also for the exchange within the network of tdAcademy Supporting Partners. I also coordinate the synthesis of the various topic lines. I find the variety of my tasks and getting to know many people involved in the design of transdisciplinary projects exciting."
