The Earth Charter is a global declaration of ethical principles for sustainability that has been endorsed by thousands of organizations and individuals around the world since its official launch in 2000. With its slogan “Turning conscience into action”, the aim of this growing global network is to put into practice the worldview and ethical principles that could help us move to a more sustainable, just and peaceful world.

Taking advantage of the visit of Dr. Alicia Jímenez, Director of Programmes of Earth Charter International, at Leuphana, we would like to invite everyone interested in learning more about the Earth Charter document and the global movement it has started as well as how to get involved.
