What do you find interesting about transdisciplinary research?

"What interests me most about transdisciplinary sustainability research is the question of what roles and functions the various scientific and social actors play in transdisciplinary projects and how the co-production of knowledge can be made more effective and equitable, for example through the employment of interface roles such as "transacademic interface managers" or "integration experts", so that scientific and social effects are strengthened and the contribution to sustainable development is increased."

What is your role in the tdAcademy project and what do you find exciting about it?

"In the tdAcademy project, I am part of the coordination office. I mainly manage the fellowship program and support other organizational concerns of the coordination office. I find (the fellowship program/) the tdAcademy project particularly exciting because people with different knowledge and experiences from all over the world come together through and for transdisciplinary research and work together to find sustainability solutions."
