About:
The SummerSchool Energy provides space for master's and PhD students to share insights, make new contacts, and gain practical experience. Here you can discuss together with researchers and practitioners how and why citizens should participate in financing the energy transition and what role biodiversity and international frameworks play in the planning of renewable energy plants. In a collaborative atmosphere, we will work out how further governance mechanisms can be created.
Together with Leuphana University, Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW), ECOLOG – Institute for social-ecological research and education and Vereinigung für ökologische Wirtschaftsforschung (VÖW) we invite master's and PhD students to come to Lüneburg University, Germany. We are looking forward to exploring the intersections of financing, participation, and environmental protection within the planning and implementation of community renewable energy projects.
